CONNECTING TO LOVE ~ DAY #26

When we live in love and for love, we empower ourself with living a long, happy and loving life.

Connecting to Love: Day 26 ~ Love Has No Age

Why does love have to have an age?

According Henry Van Dyke "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity."

Confucius says "Old age, believe me, is a good and pleasant thing. It is true you are gently shouldered off the stage, but then you are given such a comfortable front stall as spectator".

According John Galsworthy "Love has no age, no limit; and no death".

The poets tell us that Love has no age, it is always young.

We were brought into this world based on the idea of love, and the idea that there is a connection holding us together. Love is such a wonderful gift, it shouldn't be reserved for certain age groups. The purest love is found by the purest of heart.
We are born with a disposition to love in our hearts, which is developed in proportion as the mind is perfected, and impels us to love what appears to us beautiful without ever having been told what this is.
When we are open, spontaneous, and having fun with ourself, we feel restored, refreshed, and rejuvenated. Our unconditional love has a way of making feel us younger.
Research has shown that people live longer when they love someone, when they have a companion to love, or even a pet to care for.

When we keep our vibration high - through love- and we are in alignment through prayer, service, meditation, chanting, connecting with nature and we are in a state of gratefulness, our body heals and we look instantly younger.

I believe when we are young at heart, we help ourselves stay young. So, Love is really the only true natural anti-aging cure.

DAILY QUOTE:
"True love is eternal, infinite, and always like itself. It is equal and pure, without violent demonstrations: it is seen with white hairs and is always young in the heart"
 ~ Honore de Balzac

ACTION:
Ask yourself:
- Do you love yourself enough to exercise your body, stretch it, build your physical resilience and strength, and continually improve your body’s conditioning?
- Do you love yourself enough to have fun, allow your soul to be joyful, do the things you love doing, to release stress, relax your mind-body-soul, take the time to rejuvenate and re-energise?

Be present to your self - emotionally, physically and mentally.

Accept and embrace all the parts that make you - You.

Share your joy  and Love with those around you.

Write in a daily journal what you think about your age.
Make a list of all changes you want to change, in you or your life to become more younger.
